WHO WE ARE?
The Trust
In order to bring the changes in the farmer’s view towards agriculture, Sindhudurg Zilla Krishi Pratishthan, a farmer’s co-operative trust was established in the year 1997 at Kirlos under the chairmanship of Brig. Sudhir
Sawant. The trust is working for the upliftment of the farming community with its established Institutes.
The Campus
Chhatrapati Shivaji College of Agriculture, Kirlos-Oros was established in 2002, affiliated with Dr.Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth – Dapoli. It offers a 4 year B.Sc. Hon’s (Agriculture) degree program. Students successfully clearing the HSC (XII) with Science Stream are eligible for admission. In 2006, the first batch of 55 graduates passed out with 100% result and 100% placement. The college has also introduced a campus – interview system.
HOW WE DIFFER?
The ‘FAST Academy’
The ‘FAST Academy’ has been established for students those are preparing for competitive exams. The academy arrange lectures of different guest lectures and study groups for guidance. The separate section for competitive exam has been established in library.
Information about Student Counseling and Personality Development Activities. In collaboration with our KVK & other reputed organization college is also arranging monthly guest lecture for our students.
